The Chemistry Research Centre-Vila Real (CQ-VR), under the auspices of the Sociedade Portuguesa de Química, is delighted to welcome you to the 3rd International Meeting Molecules4Life, taking place from 6 to 8 September 2027 at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD), Vila Real, Portugal.
Following the success of its previous editions, Molecules4Life 2027 will once again bring together researchers from different scientific disciplines to explore the connections between Molecular Science, Life Sciences, and Health.
The meeting will welcome researchers from chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacy, bioengineering, medical sciences, genetics, and related fields, from both academia and industry, providing a forum to share recent advances, exchange ideas, establish new collaborations, and foster interdisciplinary research.
The scientific programme will be structured around four major topics:
Molecules4… Drug Delivery
Molecules4… Healthy Food
Molecules4… Sensing and Diagnostics
Molecules4… Therapeutic Applications
With a strong focus on interdisciplinarity, Molecules4Life aims to foster interaction between different areas of research and promote the development of innovative approaches to current challenges in Life and Health Sciences. The programme will include Plenary lectures, invited talks, oral communications, and poster presentations, offering ample opportunities for scientific discussion and networking.
Molecules4Life 2027 will also provide an opportunity to discover Vila Real and the Douro region, a remarkable setting where science, culture, and landscape come together. The Douro Wine Region, recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, is one of the oldest demarcated wine regions in the world and is renowned for its distinctive landscape and cultural heritage.
